1. How long have you been in the fitness industry?

I have been on my fitness journey for 13 years, I come from a sport related background.  Use to play football, soccer, rugby, boxing, karate.  After suffering an injury playing football and going through the rehab process of it I fell in love with lifting weights.

2. How do I grow my glutes?

Best way to grow the glutes is to do exercises that target the area while making sure that you have proper glute activation and proper hip mobility.

3. How much protein should I eat?

The answer to this will depend on gender, age and energy expenditure throughout the week.

4. Is there a perfect time of the day to hit the gym?

You should hit the gym when it fits best with your routine. If its at night and thats the only time you have, do it or if its in the mornings before you go to work, just do it.  Building a habit can take some time but having discipline and consistency for the first month is key.

5. Are carbs bad for you?

This one will vary with everyone. Some people do better with more carbs and some dont. Having a good understanding of how your body reacts to certain foods is helpful.

6. Should eat a carnivore diet?

Consuming meat is good but having a proper all-around balanced diet will make you have a more sustainable and adaptable diet.  Not eating carbs can be bad, specially if there isn't many choices.  You can always ask your Doctor.

7. Should I remove meat from my diet?

It is always recommend to have a balanced diet but asking your doctor is if a vegetarian diet is the best choice for you.

8. How many calories should I be consuming in the day?

This one will depend on how much energy expenditure there is throughout the day.

9. Is lifting weights bad for women over 50?

NO!  Weightlifting is probably one of the best things to add as you age. Having a strong a capable body will aid independency while aging.

10. Are vitamins needed to get healthy?

It depends. Checking with your Doctor to see if there is any deficiencies is key if you want to add any vitamins for better health.

11. How many weeks does it take to lose 10 lbs?

This can be done many ways but genetics and consistency will dictate the outcome.
